Devour the Podcast Episode 14

Here we go ladies and gents, episode 14 of Devour the Podcast!

Devour the Podcast Episode 13: In Search Of Dean Stockwell (Who The Fuck Is Dennis Stamp?)

Devour the Podcast Episode 13

This show contains NO SPOILERS (It’ll make sense later)
Here we go once again with Devour the Podcast episode 13, our first show on our new home of
-REDACTED-

You would think that for our inaugural show on a brand new network we would be bringing you the very best we could possibly produce right?

That was the plan......but then the Elder Gods intervened.........

So if you were expecting a deep, thoughtful reflection on the genre, this isn’t that episode, as the power of Cthulhu warped our tiny minds and forced us to try and usher in the Elder Gods once more!

Devour the Podcast Episode 12: There's a Maniac in the House of Fears!

Devour the Podcast Episode 12

This is a long one folks.  Along with our typical news, we spend a bit of time plugging some sites you should check out, chat about how to properly critique things on the internet (here’s a hint: “IT SUCKS” isn’t it) and make a big announcement!

In our It Came from the Instant Queue this week David and Jamie disagree on House of Fears and for Our Feature Presentation we tackle the 1980 flawed classic, Maniac.

MAJOR NEWS!

Starting next week with Episode 13 the show will no longer be available through this feed.  Devour the Podcast has joined the www.Horrorpalace.com podcast network, and will be a available through the new feed (Check back on www.Devourtheblog.wordpress.com or www.devourthepodcast.blogspot.com next week for the new feed link)

Devour the Podcast Episode 11:The Cabin in the Woods

Devour the Podcast Episode 11

Devour the Podcast Episode 10: We get RetarDead in The House of the Devil

Devour the Podcast Episode 10

Ho-lee Shit ladies and gentleman, this was a nightmare episode to edit (technical difficulties abound!), but this week's episode, we bring you the news, a bit of random discussion about Piranha, Alexander Aja and Wes Craven, and a whole mess of other random tangents.

On this week's It Came from the Instant Queue we watched RetarDead and for Our Feature Presentation we take a look at the Ti West directed The House of the Devil

Devour The Podcast Episode 9: Things just got Insidious

A week late, but Episode 9 is finally here! Sadly, this isn't the Paranormal Activity 3 review you were probably expecting, or the Exorcism Extravaganza either, but this week brings us the first episode featuring new co-host Jamie!

For this week's It Came from the Instant Queue we watched the hilariously bad Prime Evil and things get Insidious in Our Feature Presentation

Devour The Podcast Episode 7

It's finally here, the review of Paranormal Activity 2 that I've put off for two weeks (spoiler alert: I hated it).

No It Came from the Instant Queue this week, I've been too busy working on the Nightbreed retrospective over at www.devoutheblog.wordpress.com and watching The X-Files. Next week, episode 8 will feature the return of the It Came From the Instant Queue as well as the final nail in the Paranormal coffin with the review of Paranormal Activity 3

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this week's episode instead features the début of Classics From the Crypt, featuring the very first episode of the now defunct Cryptcast. Take a trip down memory lane as you hear where David struck out on his own (with help from Dez) into the podcasting world.  And while your listening, make sure to check out fellow horror bloggers:

Devour the Podcast Episode 5

Yes that's right, another week has passed and it's time for another episode of Devour the Podcast. This week, in a change of pace, David reviews Unreleased Themes from Hellraiser by Coil for Soundtrack Spotlight and for Our Feature Presentation, instead of a film, we bring to you the first trade paperback of Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Pursuit of the Flesh comic from Boom! Studios. Next week, Paranormal Activity 2 and possibly Orca: The Killer Whale!

Why a brand new microphone set up for starters, a review of "S&Man" for It Came from the Instant Queue along with "Hostel: Part 3" for Our Feature Presentation.
Episode 4 starts "The Paranormal Activity Trilogy" along with whatever the hell I happen to watch on my Instant queue.

Devour the Podcast Episode 1: Stephen Kings IT

Devour the Podcast Episode 1

Well, despite the terrible audio quality of recording (aka: What happens when you take months off from recording a podcast and forget everything you learned) here it is, the very first episode of  Devour The Podcast
In this inaugural episode, I'm joined by my good friend/former co-host of the Cryptcast Dez for a discussion of the It Came from the Instant Queue film Grave Encounters, along with Our Feature Presentation review of Stephen King's novel It and it's 1990 TV adaptation.
Leave a comment here, or on the Itunes feed (which in theory should be up and running by the time you read this).
Next week on Episode 2: Another "It Came from the Instant Queue" and for "Our Feature Presentation" the recently released Jack Ketchum/Lucky Mckee film The Woman.
